Hey I'm Vincent Traylor, I like music, computers, and drums. I am the drummer for a metal band named A Good ol' Spankin so keep an eye out for us in the near future if you like creative metal. I have played drums for almost three years now. I have studied under some great instructors in Hollywood, Ca that go by the names of Glen Sobel and Kris Berry. I have also done a lot of youtube research on various drum techniques and studied for countless hours to achieve my ability I have on the drums. I live for the drums, I can't live without them, as a matter of fact, I spent over $3,000 of my own money on drums instead of buying a car. I also really like computers, I have taken multiple computer classes throughout my 3 years in high school. I have studied A+ computer repair, multimedia, advanced multimedia, and have partially studied some audio programs. After my junior year I started to get more into audio programs and how to use them, I started by using a MIDI writing program called Acoustica Mixcraft 4, but I shortly realized that I needed a much more advanced program to do what I want to do. I now use Reaper for MIDI writing drum parts and I use Battery 3 as a VSTI converter so I can use custom drum sounds and obtain high quality MIDI samples to get a realistic drum sound. I also use triggers and a triggering module on my drum set to creat the effect of higher attack and perfect quality every time. Besides all of the technical stuff, I just love music in general, in my opinion this world wouldn't be able to function in the way that it does without music.
